An Exercise in Minimalism: Your Life, Two Words, One Weekly Tweak
Over on Twitter, one of the more interesting memes I’ve run across is “Two Words”.
I’m not sure how it started, but the idea seems to be that if reducing a conversational message to Twitter’s 140 character limit is good, then limiting your message to two words must be even better! (Minimalism is sort of an obsession on Twitter)
The Two Words challenge I’ve liked best was from Mike Sansone :
“Tell me what work you do in two words.”
I liked it so much that I’m stealing taking it off Twitter, and tossing it into the blogosphere via This Weeks Tweak.
So this week, describe what you do in Two Words. Post your words in the comment section.
Then if you’re inclined, spread the challenge.
- If you’re on Twitter, post your two words, and include the hastag #twowords then ask your followers to do the same. It would be nice (but not necessary) to include me @MindTweets and @MikeSansone, too, so we can follow the thread.
- If you’re a blogger, post them on your blog, and challenge your readers to participate. If you include a link to this post, we’ll all be able to track and follow the thread… but it’s not a requirement.
- Adapt it for whatever other social media you use, or just talk about it with friends. I’d love it if you came back and shared the results, but again, its not required.
Oh, and my two words?
“Tweak Minds.”
What are yours?
