The Big Lumosity Re-Launch!

by Tori Deaux on January 16, 2009

Lumosity’s brain-training membership site has just undergone a complete redesign. The interface is much cleaner, the game designs are more unified, and the training sessions are easier to follow.

The history and results section has been renamed and greatly simplified with a chart that compares your performance with others your age - something that I didn’t need to see! *gulp*

But overall, it should be much easier for new and elderly members to follow. I admit, though, I miss my charts, graphs and history… please bring them back, Lumosity!

Lumos Labs is also promising two new games this month: Playing Koi and Space Junk. I have no idea what they’ll be like, but who can resist a title like “Playing Koi”?

If you somehow aren’t familiar with Lumosity in spite of my endless pimping of it… There’s a free trial available if you click the graphic to the left.

Lumosity still ranks as my personal top pick in the brain training game market. The games are simple but fun, with increasing difficulty levels that get pretty darn challenging.

It’s reasonably priced, too… month to month memberships are available for 9.95, or you can save with a one year membership for 79.95.

And shhh…. a little bird whispered to me that there may be a special coupon code available for both new and renewing members, but I’m still checking on the details. I’ll let you know when/if I have more details. UPDATE: Get the discount details here: Good till Jan 21, 09

But coupon or not, go ahead and try the scientific brain training program by Lumosity. It’s fun and it improves memory and attention. Get started for free.
